Statement of Faith

What we believe:

We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God (II Tim. 3:15-17; II Pe 1:19-21; I Th 2:13).

We believe there is one eternal, almighty and perfect God; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut 6:4; Isaiah 43:10-11; Luke 3:22)

We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ (Jn 1:1, 14), His virgin birth (Lk 1:30-35), His sinless life (I Pe 2:21-22), His miracles (Jn 2:23), His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood (I Co 15:3; II Co 15:21), His bodily resurrection (Mt 28:6; I Co 15:4), His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Acts 1:9, 11; 2:33), and His personal return in power and glory (Mk 14:62).

We believe all men must be born again (Jn 3:3-5), receiving Jesus as both Lord and Savior (Ro 10:9), and that salvation is by the grace of God through faith (Eph. 2:8-9).

We believe that each believer has been given by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, the power to overcome sin and that he must seek to live his life free from sin (Ro 6).

We believe that a believer must be baptized by immersion in water in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. (Acts 2:38; Jn 3:5; Col. 2:9-14).

We believe that all believers are entitled, and should expect, to receive the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ (Acts 1:4-5, 8).

We believe divine healing is an integral part of the Gospel, and that deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers (Is 53:4-5; Mt 8:16-17; I Co 12:9; Ja 5:14-16).

We believe that we are one body being members one of another, and that the basis of our fellowship is in Christ in the power of the Spirit (Ps 133; Ro 12:3-8; I Co 12; Eph 2:13-22; 4:3-6; Col 3:15).

We believe that a believer is a steward over his earnings and possessions; therefore tithing and giving offerings are a biblical practice. (Ma 3:6-18; Mt 25:14-30).

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. 1 Co 15:50-58; Rev 20:11-15
